Izmir and the Aegean coast. This coast is probably the most beautiful in all of Turkey. We can find sandy beaches here, surrounded by olive groves. In other places, where the beach gives way to rocky and high shores, the ridges are covered with pine forests. Tiny fishing villages fit perfectly into this picturesque landscape, historical monuments and resorts.

Today it is an amazing magnet for tourists, and every year crowds of people fascinated by the ancient world visit Ephesus and its ruins to experience this amazing adventure once again.

Troy – mythical city. According to archaeologists, this once great and powerful city is located in Turkey, in the siege of which the great heroes of ancient times fought and died. Today you can visit well-preserved ruins here, from which the power of the old times beats to this day.

Pergamon is also a great place, capital of the Kingdom of Pergamon, which used to be an important center of Hellenistic science and culture. The most famous monument is the altar, and its reconstruction can be admired in Berlin, in the Pergamon Museum. Miletus is also waiting for lovers of sightseeing, being one of the most important Hellenistic cities, Pamukkale with limestone routes located on a cliff with a height of almost 200 meters, or the ruins of Hierapolis abounding in the remains of Greek buildings.

Apart from sightseeing though, or a combination of both, worth a trek, to get to know the other face of Turkey, which can be found by heading east. for here, among the vast, beautiful landscapes you can see Ottoman and Seljuk monuments, full of mysteries and interesting stories. For trekking enthusiasts, there is also the huge Lake Van and the impressive volcano Ararat.

If you want to rest among the warm sands and crystal clear water, it is worth going to one of the popular resorts in Turkey. Alanya or Bodrum are just waiting for numerous tourists to come here, to pamper them with ideal conditions, hotels full of luxury or excellent weather. You can also choose slightly smaller resorts, but just as interesting, jack fountain, which captivates with its climate and the beauty of sandy beaches

Cappadocia – Turkish region, which is famous for its beautiful landscapes and thousands of buildings, that arose in ancient times. Many civilizations have swept through Cappadocia, each enchanted person left her mark here, mainly architectural. According to the researchers' estimates, there is still a lot to be found here, because over 1000 temples (or well-preserved ruins of these) from very different cultures, traditions and religions.
